After a couple of days of Pannonian depression and plains, today we're filling our blood with heights. There were few such beautiful and warm days this year even at the beginning of summer. Already on Konjščica shining sun, clear day, no wind and warm. Access to Konjščica and to the summit of Tosc does not require winter gear, but sunglasses and cream, perhaps even shorts. And camera. Ears will ring again ; a day you share with others...

Today I was with two friends on Tosc from Planina Konjščica. We had a very nice sunny day, excellent for hiking and opportunity for nice shots of yellowed larches and wonderful view towards Triglav massif. Unfortunately I forgot my long-sleeved Maya Maya shirt at the top of Tosc, which I got as a gift and would be very happy if the finder contacts me. There was at least one more hiker behind us at the top, we met on the path.

@kolpa: Today I found the shirt on Tosc. Since I checked hribi.net in the morning before heading out on the trip, I assumed it was yours. I took it with me. I sent you a private message so you can tell me how to get it to you.
Otherwise it was also a very nice day today, path without issues, so many photos that I'll post them later.

In perfect autumn weather visited Tosc and Veliki Draški vrh, no time for more. Unfortunately tomorrow it won't be so nice anymore.

Has anyone been to Tosc recently, but from Uskovnica? The path is completely unknown to me, so I'd like to go this way.

A beautiful past weekend, planned as a family hiking trip, completely "messed up"  , so today we urgently needed PP (first aid  ). In the morning we started from the end of the road on Pokljuka, quite cold (thermometer shows -1.5 degrees), so we quickened our pace to Konjščica pasture, where we stepped into the sun . From Jezerc to Studorski preval, some path parts literally "iced over" here and there, but no problem, go a bit left or right. From the top of Mali Tosc onwards powdery, the summit itself crusty. Though some fog rolled in, views were wonderful, no wind, we didn't feel like going back to the valley… but we had to. On the return we stopped for a few minutes at the cheese dairy on the pasture, friendly caretakers treated us to "smrekovec" - thanks!!! - and according to the nice forecast, they said they would stay up there for a few more days…. Otherwise it was lonely today in this area, met no one except one chamois and some crows …
P.S. When we arrived on Pokljuka in the morning it was snowing … well, not really, snow cannons were working full blast, on returning we already saw the first skiers …

I was on Tosc, VDV and Viševnik on Sunday. 4.5 hours total, I had a fast pace, that's true. Grasses were slightly powdery, and descent from VDV needs some care due to snow patches so you don't slip, but nothing dramatic. As they said, under Studorski preval the stream is ice. Start at Rudno polje, in 2004 we started for Tosc from Uskovnica and the path was damaged but passable. Now I really don't know. Good luck.

Today on Tosc: fantasy. Warm, sunny, wonderful visibility, quite a few visitors. Path from Rudno polje over Studorski preval BP. You all probably enjoyed it anyway if you climbed above the fog!

My husband and I plan to go to Tosc tomorrow, but from Uskovnica. In the commented hikes it shows that the path from Uskovnica is damaged in several places, but I "heard" it's already repaired and fixed. Does anyone know from experience if that's true?
