Hi, I'm interested if anyone has been to the Slovenian recently, what are the conditions? Is winter gear still needed?

On Monday via Slovenian. Conditions super. Snow super for ice axing. It is covered by some powder which increases with altitude. Sometimes windblown, sometimes wading to knees.
There was a crowd at times in the route and we waited. One jump to secure.

On firm ground there was some fresh snow. Somewhere a few cm, somewhere almost to the knees. Sometimes it collapsed too. Group from AO Kamnik made the track the whole time for us nasmeh. Towards the valley fresh snow less and less. When you reach the forest practically no snow anymore and we took off crampons.
