Usually when I go from Zadnjica via Plemenice I have sun, nice weather. On Saturday far from it. The morning was still somehow nice, then it started clouding and fog accompanied me the whole ascent. Towards the top it started raining too. For a while. Then it stopped. Didn't meet anyone except 5 Czechs descending through the last chimney towards the top. I waited for them because they were going slowly. They had a self-belay kit. And it was slippery from rain too. Well, hope they descended safely. Today different picture. Warm and no cloud. Descent to Zadnjica hot. At Dolič beds reserved two weeks in advance. August after all.

At Luknja it was already closing, it was Sunday.

I was waiting for the entry into the chimney.

We were there on 7.6. via Plemenice. There were still some snowfields then. We needed an ice axe. Snow surely remained on ZTP. At least then there was still a lot of it. If temperatures are higher, no problem crossing snowfields. On slopes it happens easily if the temp drops, snow freezes. So it's good to have at least an ice axe, just in case. Bovška notch is dry there. It clears quickly.

I was there on 19.6. - in my opinion even now winter gear is not strictly needed. Over ZTP definitely on snow, but even if frozen no steepness or dangerous runouts. Parts with cables are dry.

Bravo, great answer to Climber's question. ZTP is the part where you don't need gear even in winter if you stick to the right direction

Bambergova (03.03.19)

Normal drive to Peričnik. Conditions to Luknja good, no sinking. Two-day minus did its job and it would be a shame not to use these conditions. Entire Bambergova path has hard base, no sinking. Exit to summit we did in the immediate narrow left gully, all else impassable. Walk to ZTP poetry, likewise over Bovška škrbina to summit. Return to Kredarica and behind Cmir to valley. Base phenomenal here too. Ascent and descent to Triglav from Kredarica direction hard to say it'll be better this year than this weekend, especially today (Sunday).

I'm also interested in the same, there's definitely still snow on ZTP, probably the snowfield softens a lot during the day? How is it in Škrbina?

Regarding informativeness about conditions this site is declining a lot. Why, you know yourselves. Again like on Hanzova I'm quoting the words of a colleague who was on Plemenice a few days ago:
No snow to the bottoms anymore on that flat part and before the entrance to the climbing part of Škrbina. Škrbina can be bypassed on dry ground. And little snow a little further from the junction to Paniko. I didn't even think about using crampons or ice axe anywhere. If you ask me it's a dry path.

As much as I can I'll help, but elsewhere you're loyal that day. Here you wait till everything melted anyway if any snow left by chance. Maybe right, why inquire so much and prevent accident, already too many.

Bambergova (29.06.19)

Plemenice dry! Western Triglav Plateau still snow, but no winter gear needed. Škrbina snow only right side, no need over it. To summit all OK!.

For this morning, nice weather was still forecasted. So we took advantage to go via Plemenice to the top. At the top, quite some visitors. We continued the path towards Kredarica, which today deterred us from stopping, after just a few minutes of sitting! So we went on to Stanič, where there was no crowd and they have good coffee too nasmeh
