This afternoon to Turska gora, thanks to predecessors for the track. Conditions up to 1300m mostly dry, above 1300m winter gear mandatory. Some new snow, also quite wind-packed, on some spots old base. More in pictures nasmeh

In Konc a little detour due to complete road closure :)

Up to here without winter equipment, onwards it is mandatory

Already from the steepest part of Žmavčarije

The interior was nicely tidied up and remained that way :)

Someone came from the other side... Kotličev

24. 4. 2021 from Logarska valley almost dry to the spring. Early morning hours into Turski gully. Snow fantastic, track and steps made. Also to Turska hard snow cover, dangerous for slipping, but more than excellent for summit access. On return already rolling down in the gully.

Over Žmavčarje to Turska gora. Didn't meet anyone, path steep, demanding. Saw torn cables too, quite some sliding scree. On Turska gora logbook needs replacing, wasn't cold for short sleeves and shorts.

13.7. from Kamnik saddle. Part of path when at fork for Brana and Turska gora we head to Turska, after crossing meadow and steep descent before starting ascent to Kotlice there's a snow patch on path. Very demanding to bypass, we without winter gear turned back.
Turned back also some with winter gear from other direction, though their path lengthened by a few hours. Otherwise some crossed, but really crumbly, without grip and demanding, even for experienced eek

Hello.
Has anyone gone to Turska gora from Logarska valley recently? What are the conditions, is there still snow?
Which route do you recommend? Up through Kotlice and down through the gully? Is there any less demanding descent path?

The path is dry, that snow patch can be bypassed. But the path is quite “loaded”.

From Logarska, past Okrešelj, through Žleb to Turska gora.
Cables all as they should be.
Through bottomless barrel to Kamnik saddle.
Down through Kotlice.
At Okrešelj working full speed.

Saturday trip to Turska gora, no problem. In gully 2-3x a bit of snow but can bypass or wait it out.

I know that a group of Croats went through the Turkish couloir yesterday (22.1.2022) and from the photos it seems the conditions are excellent. Went up and down the same path.

Snow is frozen, sometimes ice appears under the powder snow. With knowledge of using winter gear, the ascent through the gully won't present problems.

Today then Turska gora through Turski gully, start Dom planincev and to Rinke you warm up nicely already, ... at the waterfall we put on crampons and so on to the top and back. The path is frozen, in parts icy, somewhere it breaks through to the ankles, also puddles, but the gully itself as best it can, good base. At the top we had nice kitschy weather, which closed a bit on departure, ... Nicely utilized day
