Start in Logar Valley through Turkish gully to Turkish Mountain, on the way check bivouac under Skuta. And back to Logar.
Lots of snow gone in 3 weeks. In Turkish gully stones falling, caution not superfluous. Snow ok, somewhat icy.

Nice tour, excellent. But I thought, given the mileage, that you know our mountains better, because this phone looking is a big sadness, unless you wanted drama effect??? So that you can remember in future which is which, Kranjska looks towards Kranj, Koroška towards Koroška, Štajerska towards Štajerska, if standing at smrokazu 10 min beyond Turski žleb looking towards Rinkam

Conditions today in the Turski gully are good. Morning snow hard, little crusting, on descent in the lower part somewhat more.
Maybe a slightly more demanding section only at the entry to the ridge below the Turska gora summit, where it is icy and some turned back there. Further without peculiarities.

New thread opened because I think the mountain deserves its own chapter, without add-ons and attachments, of which there's a sea on the forum.
Yesterday there was the 23rd memorial ceremony at Okresje for five fallen mountain rescuers and I intended to attend it. After the event I decided to visit Turska gora too, since last time there over eight years ago when crossing Kamnik Alps.
A little before seven I start from Jermanca and after one and a half hours arrive in front of the closed hut at Kamnik Saddle. Oh, how nothing pays off anymore here...
I hang wet clothes on the rope and head to Okresje. Arrived among the first, I chose the most suitable boulder, from which I watched the nice ceremony in honor of the fallen. After the meeting I get a memorial t-shirt from Milan and test it right away in the switchbacks to Turski gully. Already before me some youngsters had tested the initial snowy slope, luckily they quickly realized it wouldn't go without winter gear. In the lower part the snow was softer, below the summit only with front points with the help of the ice axe. Sadly fog rolled in, pleasure only in walking, no views of course. Descent over Sod brez dna and Kotlice, fixed protections except one chain impeccable. Last snow over Boštjanec I crossed only with the help of the ice axe. Just after arriving at the hut on Kamnik Saddle it pours for five minutes, fog clears only at Pastirci.

Thanks, Zoran. Pleasant with useful, though I expected worse weather than it actually was. There are quite a few threads and everyone can study their own approach to the mountain.

Hi, what are the conditions like through Turski žleb especially towards the summit, when you get out of the wall is there still snow or can you do it normally without winter gear?
