Ferratas don't really excite me, but it was a pleasure to watch how happy they were.
And those cables are there for hanging on them anyway. One way or another.

What is controversial here at all. The person is secured and you also need to trust the safety gear and equipment to do that, otherwise it's best to lie on the couch at home and hope the chandelier doesn't fall on my head.

From the point of view of forces in the steel cable, it is completely irrelevant whether you are hanging on the cable (e.g. upper one) or standing on it (e.g. lower one). Both cables must (!) be equally anchored and withstand significantly higher forces than the (static) weight of the ferratist... it would be worse if someone jumped onto such a cable from 10m.. hope no one thinks of that.
Conclusion: it's nice to see that someone else knows how to have fun. Ferratas are after all a kind of fitness in nature for relaxation  .

In this messing around, it's not so much about safety, the ladies are specifically clipped in with proper gear.
Regarding the behavior itself, completely inappropriate, this is not an amusement park and these cables are not meant for such hanging, hanging with full weight on the cables....sad, thoughtless. In the end, such antics loosen the cable sooner or later etc.
Absolutely nice that people are happy, playful, but one needs to know how to behave appropriately for the activity....in an adventure park it's not controversial, on a sports via ferrata completely inappropriate.

First, I'd ask the administrator for a separate forum Via Ferrata Hvadnik and Via Ferrata Jrman.
Secondly, I'd like to praise PD for the beautiful and excellently made secured path through Hvadnik stream gorge. However, the PD advertising board at the ferrata entrance disturbed me, which on this path advertises smaller/younger children on the photo. Here I fully agree with the post of janezs73 from 22. 9. 2017. The brackets are really quite far apart, which my wife and I checked also on 5. 8. 2019. In front of us were two Polish families with two smaller kids who had quite a bit of trouble crossing over the quite spaced brackets. So they let us go ahead so there wasn't too much waiting. They were all properly equipped though.
Otherwise I'm 50+, apart from regular tennis, occasional cycling, skiing, swimming and hillclimbing I'm not active, yet I managed to reach the top in one hour.

Since June 2013 with Metodm/Todij we have been hiking in mountains together, always and really always safety first.
On his and my portal you can nicely see where we have been all these years. So let some savinja stop stirring shit about what is easy and what not.
