On 12.6. I went along the path of life to Vevnica, nothing was torn, but the path is difficult, before the ferrata entrance quite a lot of snow so crampons and ice axe are mandatory equipment

Yesterday we wanted to go to Mangart - via ferrata Via della vita to Vevnica. At the junction there was a sign that the climbing path to Vevnica was closed.

Before the weather worsened, that real nice November ridge from Visoka Ponca all the way to Mangart came up. Return I made via Slovenian and Via Italiana back to Belopeška Lakes. No need to say much about conditions, it'll be white there soon. Descent from Vevnica and Slovenian from Mangart more with crampons than without.

Today we did this tour, starting point in Planica. Path without special features regarding snow, only between Vevnica and Tarvisio bivouac small snowfield bypassed 10m below path. Fixed ropes catastrophic, complete set unusable. Path passable only if aware of exposed climbing. New markings. First we wanted from Vevnica to Kotovo sedlo via Kotova spica, but legs tired and don't know path so looped via Tarvisio bivouac adding 300m ascent. Otherwise I think this is one of the best paths I've done in the Julians.

You mentioned Kotova spica, from it to Kotovo sedlo you'd need a rope, alpinistic ascent/descent.
From Vevnica a bit easier direct descent to Kotovo sedlo, but much better as you did, since if you don't know don't push somewhere.

Redbull, we watched from Vevnica if possible... You mean from saddle descend left under Kotova spica and cut direct to saddle?

From Vevnica or saddle between Vevnica and V Koncu Špica descend down. Not easy, as it's interesting exposed gully in lower part when stepping on Kotovo sedlo. Kotova Špica is peak ahead of V Koncu Špica. That's the difference.
