Did anyone go last week from the bottom of Kot via Lojze Rekar's path -- climbing?
Next week I'd go over the ridge to the Stanič Hut. How's the snow on the ridge, does it hinder or is it gone at key spots?

The trail is dry, otherwise there's a short section shortly after the junction for Lower V.Š. and Stanič Hut, where there's still some snow. Footprints have already been made, but an ice axe or crampons would come in handy. (we crossed it without gear, but caution was needed)

18.10.2017 - From Kot over Vrban Spires to Stanič Hut and then to Cmir. Back to the valley along the "classic" path. The path over Vrban Spires is completely dry, as well as the one to Cmir, only at the start a few steps on snow are needed. Otherwise quite cold in the wind, pleasantly warm in the shelter from the wind in the sun.

Lojze Rekar's path is dry except for one snow patch near Debeleg kamen. It is necessary to cross about 20m of snow which will last quite a while. In case of slip there's quite a slide on snow and the end is not nice. On the path past Stanič hut there are three or four more snow patches, but not problematic.
