What's going on with hribi.net?!

I'll try to upload descriptions for that part too... might take a bit longer, since I haven't hiked everything yet (emphasis on ALL). Winter routes there are poetry!

Definitely I'll contribute something myself if that option is there and it's not yet on the net.
I believe winter routes there are poetry. Mountains are poetry in general, aren't they?

We've noticed such a drop in quality of this portal in the last 6 months that one starts seriously questioning the sense of posting, advising and mutual communication, even ZS are no longer private... I think we have a really excellent portal, for easy as well as the hardest routes in mountains, winter and summer, spring and autumn nasmeh. Yes, the palette is really wide. Also condition posters try to describe path conditions as correctly as possible and spice it up with pics, stories. These aren't our medals nor our boasting, but the current state there. I don't care much for those who think differently, those who think posting conditions up on the portal is self-praise and self-confirmation. I'm fed up with constantly the same questions about winter gear in winter and summer gear in dry conditions too.
I notice many posters have stopped posting their paths and ascents, as they see no sense anymore, new users have appeared who exploit logging in under different user names... One really wonders where the sense is? What's the sense of deleting own comments, what's the sense of trolling and gossiping on the forum. I'm first to admit I've written many barren and bitter things on another account, wasn't correct in reply. But we're humans, we err, it's in our genes. We also have mocking, sneering, arrogance, cynicism etc. in genes... All acceptable to a degree, but when that line is crossed, we get the portal state now... Only one positive thing happened in this time, censorship works full throttle.nasmeh
See you somewhere in mountains where there's no such sh**!
Maybe this: many of you are against dialects (you even started a special thread on this topic)... So cheerfully to workmežikanje
No hard feelings.

It's true that some good mountaineers rarely post their tours, but everyone has their own reason. Maybe they'll revive from the dead in the future. What geolog describes, that the forum is this and that, I don't notice anything like that at all. Quite the opposite, the forum normalized after a minor short circuit during the "censorship" time, also thanks to Tadej who eliminated one-sided targeted accusations, and it's right that way in the future too. A code of respectful communication and forum use must be preserved. For new portal users it's always like that, lots of questions about some self-evident things. It's up to those who know and are versed in mountaineering to preventively explain to newbies things concerning safety in the mountains anyway. Better to ask than to remain ignorant on a tour. That way we'll prevent many an unwelcome experience in the mountains, for ourselves as well as the sometimes risky and self-sacrificing rescue operations of the GRS team.

For repeating the same questions there are usually "sticky" threads (with answers) that are always on the first page of the message list and additionally marked to distinguish them from normal ones. They help a lot because most users don't bother searching, but to avoid repetition it still needs to be made easier for them. So I hope we'll have this feature someday, because then you just need to search a bit and combine good answers to various common questions into one coherent message.

If you have problems with Firefox remove it and reinstall it.
If you have serious problems then reinstall Windows

I don't think the portal's quality has dropped.

Maybe it really just needs a little reorganization as Kozorog suggested. E.g. give the 'Trenutne razmere' forum the simple name 'Forum' and then divide it into 'Trenutne razmere', 'Impressions from trips', 'Ads', 'General', 'Other things that have nothing to do with mountaineering',... Everyone will then read what interests them.

geolog79:"Always the same questions that you somehow can't get past. In the end I don't even know who's the fool here?!"

OK, if there are some silly questions (I admit, there aren't few), I agree with you. But if someone e.g. despite it being written five times that a helmet is recommended for a crumbly tour, asks it a sixth time, we just tell them. All for safety! There are no stupid questions, stupid is the one who doesn't ask.

ljubitelj gora: among the links you didn't mention my thread about needs in the mountains mežikanje The admins can safely delete it if it contributes to the portal's clarity.

on the right side there's a pictures button, click it and a window with already uploaded pictures opens, then you can edit there... of course save changes then. Regardsnasmeh

Hello.

I don't know where to post an idea for hribi.net, so I'll write it here.

As we all know, mountaineers and hikers are mostly honest enough people and an additional section lost/found would be very useful!

What do you say?

I've been reading the lines of this forum for a long time now. I already checked the current conditions lines "To Triglav?" but I'm disappointed because everything is deleted!? I'll never understand how human malice due to personal dissatisfaction, "foušije", frustration and envy can be so great that it leads to the withdrawal of the smarter one! Maybe it would be right for all of you who intentionally ta...... Igor to think about it a bit!
You never know who is hiding under an n.n. nickname? It could be one of the "beauties" that Igor took on trips... back then he was ok and fine, now that he put her on the shelf, of course all the "love" is over! Now he needs to be slandered and cursed, of course under another nickname??? Low and cowardly beyond compare. I won't go on.... I hope and believe that I can read contributions from forum members on this forum who don't belong to the category I described above.
This can be ended by allowing everyone on the forum to post only with their name and surname, only then there will be peace!

Already during the rant against Igor and the unrealistic summary of my description of Tukalica, one could discern an unstable person and superficial, jumping accusations. As if a person of lower nature has nothing smarter to do and goes to the forum to try to tarnish it negatively. Let Tukalica stay somewhere else and not on the organized mountain conditions forum. In the future, more tolerance is needed among mountaineers, who in life, not just in the mountains, are on different sides, and therefore those who know and can should rather help, advise and not approach (advise) in a purely negative egoistic manner.
I remember an old Indian Sahaja yogi whom I, as a newcomer, asked what the difference is between me and him. He replied none. The difference is only that I sit in the wagons more in front, you in the back, but the wagon is going in the same direction and we will all reach the right goal.nasmehmežikanje

Before "ancient" years, a lot was posted on the PZS forum. Really quality posts, many little gems were found in them. Then the same as here. Below every level, we stopped writing, the forum died and after the renovation all posts went to perdition. And there was something special, posts that would belong in the museum in Mojstrana. As valuable archival material.
And now here too we are approaching the breaking point. Should we post anything at all zmeden or take time, delete our posts and ... yeah, and delete it (won't say where jezen )

At registration mandatory name, surname, E-mail. And then the administrator "holds hand" over the level of posts.
In principle everything can be done if you want.
