Thanks everyone for the help. One more, is the fruit of Indian mock strawberry edible?
like
Apolonija30. 03. 2015 08:03:24
Good morning! As far as I know, these fruits are more inedible than poisonous. I've eaten them already and they are white inside, mushy and tasteless. No reason to use them for food. Regards

Good morning! Nice little flowers!
No. 8 is tenacious bird's-eye primrose, no. 19 is a subspecies of common primrose (Primula vulgaris ssp. sibthorpii). Could be a spontaneous genetic change or it came from some garden.nasmeh

Hello, some little flowers that delight us on our paths at this time. nasmehvelik nasmeh
Experts please for more precise identification of the barren strawberry. I attached all 3 pictures so subspecies might be easier to identify. Timing-wise it's a bit early, as barren strawberries should bloom from May on. zmeden

@zlatica, Hello!
The barren strawberry is definitely creeping. I've met it myself already this year.

Otiv, you're right. Otherwise the rosettes aren't visible, with which it creeps and spreads. But the apical leaves are visible, which are entire, while in the hairy one they are three-lobed. And of course the hairy one is hairier and flowers usually more blue.
Zlatica, pyramidal ones, the name already says they look like little pyramids, because the stem leaves quickly get smaller upwards.

Haven't seen the yellow one in Gorenjska yet.

Yes, my teachers, thanks a lot for the kindness. I have to say honestly that I was leaning most towards the prostrate one because of the pale color - around leaf details it seems pretty tough to me, for the pyramidal one you explained nicely, Apolonija, for the hairy one I didn't know how hairy it has to be, since this one too is a bit when you look at it live up close. Here, once again, thanks to both for solving the puzzle. nasmeh

Today practically in the snow looking for the first auricula of this year and the evergreen rockjasmine. The evergreen rockjasmine blooms on rocks below Tolsti vrh above the path towards Kriška gora. Auricula on crags above Ovča pot on hay meadows just below the summit of Kriška gora. But both alpine flowers will be in full bloom here only in two to three weeks if the weather doesn't freeze them.
The seven-leaved cinquefoil is just starting to bloom. francimedved has it already in full bloom under pictures nos. 1, 2, and 3.1

Not really a mountain question, but since you're gathered here flower lovers (and excellent photographers) I'm curious if anyone knows if the marsh tulip / logarica is already blooming on the Ljubljana Marsh?

Of course it's blooming, if the morning frost this week didn't shrivel them too much... I admired them this week on Tuesday.

Velkavrh, I see you at least managed to catch the auricula buds somehow. This year flowers are much later, the auricula that last year bloomed abundantly on the path to Prevala just at this time, there was none there two days ago, even leaves were barely visible. The rockjasmine is very interesting and as I see, also hardy even in snow.
Franci, your shots are very interesting and beautiful, special moments of nature awakening you captured. Too bad you didn't name them.nasmehmežikanje
