Good evening! I've already seen yellow gentian, on Krk actually. Not in Slovenia yet. Maybe it'll bloom in my garden. It has really narrow leaves, like cypress spurge, the flower is small, shape-wise same as other gentians.

You photographed a wonderful dogwood. It's already blooming on our gardens too. Whether it's American (Cornus florida) or Japanese (Cornus kousa) is the question. By the tree's shape I'd say it's more the American one. nasmeh

otiv, good morning! You're quite early. The larch and its flowers always fascinate me.

-I think it's not wood violet, but Rivin's violet - Rivin's violet has light, blunt spur, slightly curved upwards, like the one on the picture

Good morning, Apolonija, I was just thinking about guessing the flowers from Prevala, and you already did the job. I only recognized the anemone and the bittercress, because I found them this year. What about the bittercress? Is it perhaps three-leaved (or tripartite - I don't know what's right) bittercress? lp

Despite rain and fog I went to check how flowering looks on Jezerce pasture and further towards Kržišče. Unfortunately terrible fog and even those flowers that are already there were soaking wet. But real spring will come only in two, three weeks.

I started in Stiški vasi, where the weather was somewhat tolerable. At the edge of the meadow there is plenty of downy hemp-nettle.

on the meadow, however, there is already plenty of meadow burnet-saxifrage.

Along the forest path there is plenty of yellow anemone.

There is also the common stinking hellebore.

Then I find completely soaked pale cowslips. First time seeing it this year.

Then I drove to Planina Jezerce and headed towards Kržišče. Soon I found stands of Wulfen's globeflower.

From the ground peeked the common alpine bellflower.

The spring marmot was completely wet and utterly miserable. No Clusius marmots yet.

There were, however, plenty of common foxgloves, black hellebores and also spring large bellflowers. I didn't search the entire Kržišče and thus didn't see the tall globeflower, of which there is a lot here.

Bittercresses? I know medicinal, dioecious, rock, three-leaved and mountain, which has 2 and 2 leaves on the stem opposite each other. Rock one is small and stem is bare. For three-leaved the name says it. Otiv, if you look again, which one would you choose? Mountain? nasmeh

Today I just took leave and off to Vremščica. Primarily I was looking for gorski kosmatinec, because last year only ten days later I saw just its lučke. Of course I found it. Sadly the common peonies and common goldenroot are not blooming yet and also many flowers I found last year aren't there yet.

Already on the meadows right after Senožeče the pigeon primroses greet us.

Southern lungwort - Pulmonaria australis - greets us along the path; unfortunately the photo didn't turn out well.

This year too I see some crosswort that I couldn't identify last year.

This is its leaf rosette with thin, hairy, bare stems.

Pretty soon we are in the forest - common črnoga.

Still unopened flowers of the common dog's-tooth-violet.

A spurge I don't know. This is the Carniolan spurge.

This interesting carnivorous plant didn't turn out well. It is common butterwort.

It has unusual leaves. It is not a carnivorous plant.

Common green-winged orchid - Orchis morio.

Our forest orchid - not flowering yet. This is the oval-leaved fly orchid.

This year I came across large stands of strawberry chickweed - it grows scattered all over Vremščica.

White five-finger orchid - there are many of them. It is characteristic of the Karst.

The Trieste bluebell is all blue at this time.

These are Karst yellow five-finger orchids - it could be the southern or Tommasini's.

There is a lot of it - I can't distinguish it.

Flower of silver plantain - Plantago argentea.

Inflorescence of the early man's orchid.

Unknown goldilocks. The tuberous one flowers later.

Leaves of that goldilocks. It is about ten cm high.

Along the entire Vremščica mountain daffodils are blooming, many are still in buds - Narcissus poeticus.

Wrinkled-fruited burnet - Sanguisorba muricara.

Also its flower - I can't determine the species.

Three-fingered rock-cress. Now it is even more modest - it becomes abundant later.

I found this little trifle in the grass - it is similar to the spring kokošnica.

Common bellflowers had company. Bellflowers had leaflets along the stem - by this we recognize the species.

On Vremščica I discovered several sites of common peony already last year - it is protected.

Then the common golden root will also bloom.

In summer the košutnik-rumeni svišč-bratinski blooms here.

This is the flower for which I visited Vremščica-gorski kosmatinec at this time.

Brane, although you didn't manage to identify all the little flowers, you still discovered many new ones for me, like srebrni tropotec, gozdna orhideja, južni pljučnik, triprsti kamnokreč, brstična konopnica. Nice. Greetings nasmeh
