That's Turkish preobjeda.

Expert answer - in Slovenia two narrower forms of capitated preobjeda grow - narrow-leaved and Turkish. The narrow-leaved is endemic to the Julians. On the picture we have Kamnik-Alpine preobjeda. It differs from the Turkish by more stocky growth, dense inflorescence and saturated violet color. Summarized after Tone Wraber from Hundred Famous Plants in Slovenia.

In Slovenia among others (there are 8 species with nine subspecies) three similar types of preobjeda grow like the one on Jože's photo: Repičasta with two subspecies, Turkish with two subspecies and narrow-leaved, which is endemic to alpine and submediterranean area, so that one is out. It can be one of the other two or their subspecies or their hybrids, or hybrids of subspecies. For exact determination a lens would be needed, most probably it is Turkish. Prof. Wraber (1990) probably named repičasta as Kamnik-Alpine, botanical science is alive and changing. (Source: Mala flora 2007)

Anka, it really will be Turkish. I looked at Jože's picture carefully once more and realized that there are no flowers at the top and that misled me. Adding picture of habitat near Krvavec.

Yes, indeed the willow gentian is still growing in full bloom, lots on the path through Žmavčarje.

Still some belated flower can be found. Rock jasmine blooms usually among the first spring flowers. On the tenth photograph is hairy whitlowgrass, the next is horseshoe vetch, the one with white stars is cross: maybe rock cress, popkoresa surely not. The last is blue-green rock speedwell.

The flower forum captivated me. Such beautiful photos you post and how many flowers and grasses you know. I like flowers, I photograph them too, but names... only a few stay in my head, I have to recall them from memory every year. Hats off to all photographers and experts. Keep it up.

@vandica1 I have memorized only a few flower names. I think the best help is some guidebook and on the spot find the flower in the book, compare it with the one in nature and later check on the forum.

Velkavrh, if by German you meant Bavarian bellflower, that's right. The last pink beauty is moss campion.

Anka, thanks! Sure, I meant the Bavarian one. On my last trips in the Karavanke I used my fluent German knowledge each time because there were quite a few hikers from Austria and I mixed up a bit, otherwise I know both bellflowers well. I know moss campion well too, I have the garden one at home in three colors, but at the start of the season I confused it here with dwarf, and Peter2 corrected me right away, who hasn't posted for a long time. Next spring I will explore his area as he calls it, the Bohinj end - Bohinj midhills from Viševnik to Ablanca, Brda and more. In Srednja vas I have both sisters, so I will stay with them for a couple of days. L.P.

On the second photo is one of the spurges, probably almond-leaved or sharp spurge.

It seems we've gotten a bit tired from the long season, but still I encounter the last floral greetings before the snow. This time from the tour via Grdi graben to both Kočne and Grintavec.
