Today I found these common peonies. Just that at ours they already bloomed out. Too bad. They remind me of childhood years. At ours we called them telki, don't know why and God forbid to bring home any flower, because older folks believed hens wouldn't lay eggs anymore.

I'd just go to Slavnik. Otiv, it's Trieste pasque flower because of wider sepals than spring one has. And Zlatica, you guessed right about hawthorn.

Nice, tinky, that you took time for the flowers during your daily route.

How are the daffodils this year? I assume they're already on the coast - Vremščica interests me. What about Javorniški rovt above Jesenice towards Svečica or Španov vrh? Still too early?

Otiv, I was already expecting you to upload a whole album of flowers any moment, since your pause was rather too long. Very nice. Did you pick up any ticks too, since there are usually a whole bunch among the peonies?

Fortunately I didn't get any...but I did spray my pants a bit, of course not with water.

On Slavnik scarlet-blue bird's seed does not grow. It is actually a cereal weed that is increasingly disappearing and grows lower. otiv, under the unknown flower you have common garlic mustard. This flower is also common in the valley. By us already wilted. It smells of garlic.

Branko, thanks. About the scarlet-blue bird's seed though I don't know if you're quite right. Maybe Apolonija will convince me. I delved a bit into the narrow-leaved lungwort and also looked at the brochure on flowers on Slavnik. You're right Branko...the pictures of narrow-leaved lungwort from flowers on Zaplan misled me a bit, which seems a bit different from ours.

Good evening, flower lovers otiv, now I'll really have to go to Slavnik, you've convinced me. A few years ago I identified both plants myself on Lipnik: narrow-leaved lungwort and scarlet-blue bird's seed. Because they grew together in the forest, I could more easily see the differences. Whether it grows on Slavnik, I don't know, but I know it's in deciduous forests up to an altitude of around 1400 m and not as a weed in fields. There it's field bird's seed. On your pictures, otiv, it's 100% narrow-leaved lungwort. But Zlatica on the previous page presented bird's seed.

Apolonija, please look at Branko's picture 11 from Slavnik. This is not the same flower as mine from the top. His, in my opinion, is scarlet-blue bird's seed, the petals are sharper at the ends and also more deeply toothed than in narrow-leaved lungwort.

I delved into both photos. On mine it's really scarlet-blue bird's seed. But I also saw narrow-leaved lungwort. Actually, the flowers are very similar at first glance. I corrected on my picture. Today, as penance for my mistakes, flowers from my walk.
