Otiv, Brane, now you've clarified it, haven't you. Otiv, when I wrote above: "But Zlatica on the previous page presented bird's seed", I misremembered the author. I meant exactly 11. Zlatica wrote to you once before about bird's seed. Your cuckooflower; probably the starry one.

Potka, if you poke around here some more. Your unknown is most likely common ash sapling. Because the characteristic leaves were still folded together, it didn't occur to me, although I know it's common there. Regards

Apolonija, thanks for the quick first aid, I've already corrected it, regarding the yellow one though I think there are several different and please give the picture number... if you've managed to look at all, since uploading is such a long process that by the end I almost despaired . Good night, otherwise good morning tomorrow.

Branko, for better visibility of the flowers you can also use flash... you surely have it on the camera. Zlatica, did you walk all day along the Karst edge to find so many flowers. Excellent harvest and naming doesn't trouble you like me. I'm not much help... Apolonija, I think the yellow one isn't Austrian ragwort, it's something else.

good morning! thanks Apolonija for all identifications and tips and Otiv for the kind reply. Otiv, you're right, my husband and I spent almost the whole day hiking, as if it was our whole world. And it was soothing. Naming them doesn't come easy to me either, so I needed almost 2 days to name most of them successfully or less so

zlatica, praise for Karst edge. I'll have to check it out live. You found a bunch of flowers I haven't seen live yet. This year I'll have little time for proper botanizing.

Does anyone know the name of this flower. It has a strong scent, blooming now?

During Saturday's visit to Slavnik it wasn't flowering yet, which means you found it in warmer places.

I kinda thought it would be around there. Now you know one more little flower, which is worth something too. If there's ever another unknown one, it's good to photograph the green part of the flower too, not just the bloom.

I've really been thinking for some time if this little flower even has a name. It's nice to see it on the meadow when it's in bloom.

Darinka4, it really is a beautiful little flower, and also poisonous like many others. It causes a skin reaction, so be careful around it. But this is that little flower - unknown one that potka found still in baby phase (p. 190 or 191) and was asking its name, of course our Apolonija recognized it then. lp
