That it's poisonous I know all too well. Once I sniffed it closer and was all spotty on my face. Since then I watch it more from afar.

I found this narcissus on Slavnik which strongly differs from its conspecifics. What is the cause? Perhaps consequence of radioactive contamination, that's the hint I got. Or is there something else?

If I didn't know you, I'd say this is to blame.

These lady's slippers are beautiful. Especially the cat's ears are something special for me, because I don't find them in our area. Otiv, microorganisms are also possible for your narcissus.

Thanks, Apolonija. Is it usual or an exception for a narcissus to have two flowers on one stem, because I found such a narcissus too.

Iynx, your flower is Gaudin’s knapweed. The color and shape of the flower are right. Leaves on this knapweed are softly hairy.

I don't believe it, all specimens were white (worse picture). I wanted to treat you a bit — the photo is from Macedonia.

You, you, lynx, curious one, naughty one Curious one because the plant really interests you, naughty one because you're more interested in -"a little treat" than the plant. For now I know only that it is really knapweed and white (Centaurea alba). For more one would need to study Macedonian flora, right?

darinka, black clover, the three-leaved we call drobtinice, botanically it is Tanacetum parthenium - white buttons.

I think I found white knapweed - it should be Centaurea diffusa. Today I was at Zelenica. Saw Wulfen's sedge, both cottongrasses - snow and white, nine-leaved hemp agrimony, still blooming black helleborine, sedges, alpine pennycress, lots, but something else not yet.

Ah, how beautiful this knapweed is. Brane, did you really find it? Was it on the rocky part from cable car station upwards?

It's the knapweed from Macedonia by Lynx. It's white and doesn't grow here. I went up very early and it wasn't possible to take pictures.

But it's not on Lynx's picture either, do you agree?

After careful study of the sepals, flower shape, I concluded it's the mountain knapweed.
