Your moss belongs to Mnium mosses

http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo/mnium.html

Tone Wraber described larches on Peč. Once they were quite widespread in Slovenia, now only on Smrekovec, Raduha and Peč. Apparently they were planted on Pohorje but don't thrive. Our native pine, black and red pine and junipers have 2 needles per shoot, larch has 5, like Siberian pine....

Apolonija, what all you don't know, or rather do know! First I was a bit ashamed because of the lungwort, uf eek, but I always smile when you pose a new riddle as answer and lead me to the solution. You're unique at that! And moss - thanks, I hoped for your help because I know mosses are close to your heart velik nasmeh. And I see Wraber was versatile, your info on his studies is valuable, as I'm glad the local pointed it out to my husband and me, since we had to cross a huge meadow all the way to the other side of the path to get to the larch. Best regards nasmeh

Don't worry about the lungwort, I know you really don'tvelik nasmeh, because such things are completely normal. How many times plants seem familiar to me but I can't remember which ones they belong to.zadrega

Although now no special flowers, with your help we got to know the wolfsbane and larch... Next year we'll go see Smrekovec characteristic little flowers like hairy and smallest primrose, Koch's gentian, white pasqueflower, alpine azalea and special Woodsia fern. Endemic is also viviparous starry saxifrage (Saxifraga stellaris subsp. prolifera). Otiv, you've seen and photographed all that many times already, right?nasmeh

Apolonija, I looked around for some traces - remnants of saxifrage or azalea, but so few rocks that I wondered where those primroses, gentians, saxifrages or fern would be. Probably need to go end of May, beginning of June, right? Otiv, I also remember you photographed the smallest primrose and I don't know if not also alpine bellflower?? zmedenAnd one special white-flowered Katan's foamflower is special here too....nasmeh lp

Most flowers grow on the summits of Komna, which are rocky. Bellflower probably blooming now, like elsewhere... nasmeh

I browsed the internet a bit and realized the sought flower has already bloomed, Zlatica. Next year earlier on the trail and not wait for blueberries... velik nasmeh

Otiv, undoubtedly, already this year I had it planned but circumstances didn't allow; I only came alive in summer and so I take what I get and that's interesting and completely different story... So fingers crossed for next year right time velik nasmehnasmeh

To see all the flowers, you'll need to go to Komna 3 times. A lot depends on winter and the amount of snow.

To enjoy the flowers to the full,
I turn to Dleskovška.
It's beautiful elsewhere too,
is there such a beautiful path anywhere else?

And at the end; but it's not true,
I watch the marmots' dance.

p.s. Otiv; where can I post more marmot pictures?

Excellent, Kati1909!
The Dleskovška paths are quite familiar to me and I've known for a veeeeery long time that it's beautiful here.
Post the marmots under general discussions - animal behavior.
Best regards!

My little flowers are a bit different, but still interesting.

Kati1909, your rockfoil could also be rough rockfoil. But peculiarities of both are not known to me. To me if it catches the first eye it's that one... velik nasmeh

Kati, thanks for the cute animal.

Rockfoil? The names sulcate and rough often confuse me too.
Then I imagine that sulcate has furrowed/shaped 3 horns on the leaflets and that we have three: Carniolan=yellow-green flowers, musky= I'll think of it only on Peca or Snežnik and blackish-throated with characteristic dark red flowers.
Rough and bluish-green rockfoil are very similar. However, with the first you can't distinguish the leaf rosettes, with the second you can.

Kati, can you decide which one you photographed?nasmeh

Hi there, Kati, I didn't know that two marmots were waiting for me on HN as a surprise! Thanks for the gift. You were lucky to catch them so nicely. Yes, this Dleskovška plateau is really flowering and we're back to rockfoils.... Apolonija explained it all so nicely again and it all holds true as nailed down. The decision for rough rockfoil on the first picture is correct considering this explanation, for the second rockfoil it's the bluish-green one. But what one sees live tells the most...
What about you, miri, did you "pluck" this alpine catchfly this year? Best

Hello!
I think I took the term "furrowed" from Velkavrh; and it's really not in any handbook. In the book "Alpine Flowers of Slovenia" Vlado Ravnik writes that the warty saxifrage is similar to the blue-green one, but differs from it by almost flat leaves, which in the blue-green are bent downward. The flower stems are less densely hairy above than below.
If I look closely at my saxifrages, both are warty.
Otiv: on Saturday I went from Podvežak past l.k. and under Lastovec to pl. Stare stale, then to Vodotočnik and after ascent to Desko via Lastovec back to Podvežak. At Vodotočnik there is a shepherd who keeps the hut open until mid-August.
