Yes Zlatica, 5 and 13 is the same bellflower. Me neither, I don't know which one. I'm more or less satisfied with bellflowers that I know it's a bellflower

During today's visit to Šmarnogorska Grumada I found the bellflower below. Flowers are extremely small. Is it perhaps known to you.

Isn't it the clustered one?

The flower size mainly bothers me, they really are tiny. I know clustered bellflower and size of its flowers. And this yellow one is unknown to me too.

Deniss, as you see Apolonija has already solved the puzzle about the bellflowers, which is actually Učka endemic. Nice, thanks Apolonija, we know more again. Your white find is more similar to pale scabiosa (the one they long sought under the name scabiosa trenta - Trenta grintavec, symbol of Kugy's dreams or quests) and in the end found out it's pale scabiosa. Although I've never seen it live, I'm quite sure it's exactly scabiosa.

You're right Zlatica. It's a relative though. In me the scholar's reason didn't prevail but the dreamy soul of a mountain poet as Kugy would say. I spotted Tommasini's bellflower on the educational trail signs from Učka but forgot it in between.

Deniss, I would be so happy if you wrote under every beautiful picture which flower it is. Lp

Thanks Zlatica. Zvonček, I'd gladly as always so far, but I'm still on vacation and most of these coastal flowers are foreign to me...

Zlatica, haven't you really seen it yet? What about in Julijana in Trenta???

No, obviously I wasn't there at the right time, because I photographed the site when obloglavkas started sprouting and there weren't many buds yet, flowers of course not at all, since it was only towards end of June.

Otiv, do you have more pics of your unknown yellow one? Flower from above? Did any have more flowers? It reminds me a bit of kobulasta škržolica, Hieracium umbellatum

I was strolling around Mrzlica... Sure I have a close-up pic and the flower has several flowering shoots too. Thanks

I browsed a bit in the direction of your hint Apolonija, and all points to it really being kobulasta škržolica. It has such a strongly leafy stem and exactly that flower, can be more branched at stem top or have more solitary flowers (according to pics I found). Growing time is right, VII-X, locations light forests, forest edges, meadows from low to montane belt. And present in Slovenia of course.

Zvonček, it's quite hard to keep up with you this year! I've never caught keeled garlic on Kofce, interesting. darinka4, your feats are piling up like on a conveyor belt. Nice that you don't forget the flowers too. Looks like you photographed Triglav doronicum on pic 2, if the flower was more low-growing. lp
