On the way from Konjščica to Veliki Draški vrh and Ablanca I photographed various alpine flowers, but as always there are flowers whose exact names I don't know yet. Thanks in advance for the names.

silvo1952, perhaps we even met yesterday. Let's see: No.3. - Divjak's saxifrage, which I nicely presented on pics 33 and 34. Characteristic for it are those huge leaves. Nos. 4 and 6. you have common lady's slipper, there's really a lot of it. I presented fragrant orchid on pic No.5. This is smaller, lighter colored and rarer too. No.7. - alpine roseroot - Rhodiola rosea, there's a lot of that too. No.5. - not snow gentian. Haven't found it here yet. Found it in Italy. This gentian has the smallest flowers. Flowers on all shoots. Probably spring gentian - at least it looks so. Now there's also a lot of bladder gentian. No. 8. - it's one of the many alpine yellows - whether it's alpine pasque, spring pasque or globeflower hard to say. For recognition you need a good flower pic, what the involucral leaves under the flower are like, stems and leaves. I also have trouble recognizing them.

One more photo, where the flowers are half the size of the flowers of alpine globeflower or sun-daisy, which still has no name.

silvo1952, this is alpine or prealpine globeflower, which has the smallest flowers. Ovoid globeflower and common globeflower have larger flowers. On Črni prst there should grow also shining globeflower. But common globeflower is widespread throughout the Alps with numerous subspecies. We distinguish common globeflower from alpine by the fact that alpine has leaves without stipules, common has stipules on leaves. Here grows also ovoid globeflower, which has its own rules again.

plezac, velkavrh, who so friendly (and quickly) answers everyone, probably overlooked you unintentionally, so I'm telling you the names of your little flowers, and velkavrh please complete me with the name of the flower on your pic 2, because I don't remember the name . On pic 1 is Kerner's poppy, on 3 Triglav gentian, on 4 stemless catchfly, on 5 club-headed lousewort, on 6 common lady's slipper and on 7 Sternberg's pink. Best regards

Zvončica, do you mean Bohinj hawkweed?

Zvončica you probably thought of the spring pasque flower. It could be some rock cress. I see flowers on a brownish stem. Small leaflets are visible on the stem. I think it's the blue-green rock cress. Peter Strgar would probably identify it exactly.

@Zvončica, @velkavrh thanks for help with identification!

Zlatica, beautiful photos (as always) Regarding plezac's picture 2 it's not Bohinj hawkweed . Nor spring pasque flower, I agree with velkavrh that it's most likely blue-green rock cress . Best regards all

Darinka, that's common viper's bugloss, although I've never seen it so branched. Lp

Aha, thanks. They are very tall. I was surprised. Maybe because of the rains on the Karst they are so tall.

silvij: no. 1.-shaggy or hairy shield-for exact recognition a closer photo is needed. no.3.-that's shaggy rock cress no. 6.-it's two-colored murka -Nigritella miniata var.bicolor I also stumbled upon this murka on the path to Vodnikov dom. Characteristic of it is that it's whitish below. The flower is elongated-long. Red murka-Nigritella rubra is uniform color and the flower is not long. Knowledge about mountain flowers will never be concluded-definite. I came across two more murkas that are supposed to grow on the Košuta ridge-košutnikova and ravnikova -interesting. I wouldn't cite the authors of the photos and text. There is also some confusion in Latin naming of murkas-I mean the red ones-different authors name them differently. I think the most correct Latin name is as Mr. Blažiš states in his master's thesis on murkas-2017.

Recently there was a picture of snow gentian, but it wasn't the right one. This gentian has the smallest flowers. Flowers are on all shoots. I found it a couple of years ago in Italy in the Dolomites.

darinka4 - on pictures 6 and 7 you have a flower from flax family-sticky flax, relative of blue Julian flax. On picture no. 9 there are hairy primroses. They are common in our alpine world.
