Malenka, as I know Zvončica, she surely didn't mean it the way her sentence can also be understood. Maybe she omitted "also", or she meant some really special unknown that only you can unravel.
Who wouldn't be grateful to you for all the time and wealth you donate here. She'll probably write it herself. Nice regards

Apolonija, thanks for taking my "ignorance and laziness" in defense; I've been on this forum quite a while with "you" and thanks to You (you, Zlatica, Otiv and more..) I've learned a lot and loved mountain flowers even more. So I'll rather overlook the "educational words of the new teacher", typical for people confident in their knowledge who lack empathy. I respect people who from their narrow view manage to open their window wide too.
Let's enjoy the beautiful flowers!

Quote: „Therefore I'll rather ignore "educational words of the new teacher", typical for people confident in their knowledge without empathy. I respect people who from their narrow view manage to open their window wide too. „

Oh, holy simplicity! How skilfully they've unmasked and lectured me! At the same time revealing their expectations: instead of the plant name whose photo they posted on the forum, they'd rather have me empathize with them, in the style: „Dear, I'm very sorry that your little flower will remain an eternal puzzle.“ And they'll be comforted. (In the background the song „We don't need no education ...“ is heard - you all know it, right.)

In short: after a few comments no one can judge why I'm sometimes too direct, maybe even a bit rough. And no one knows how much shit has fallen on my head during the good 6 decades, so a couple years ago I came to the point where I told myself: I don't need to endure this.

My sole purpose and mission on this site during this time was and is improving the plant gallery, for which I took a lot of time and achieved that goal in approx. 90 %.

So, further comments don't interest me, stay in the flowers!

Yes, doesn't the virus already embitter our lives enough and here we unnecessarily cause bad mood to each other. Flowers are joy for all and let that joy express itself on these pages too. nasmeh

Malenka, I really accidentally left out "also" in my sentence. What the lack of one word can cause, which significantly changes the sentence content.
And so much unnecessary bad mood. I apologize, malenka.

Apolonija, thanks for the kind words.

Otiv, true, flowers are great joy to us all and let it remain so.nasmeh Despite hard times enjoy the wonderful autumn colors, in garden, park or forest.

otiv, how right you are. We really sometimes purely unnecessarily embitter life. It always upsets me when someone is hurt. Often we see only ourselves, our hurt, our problems, make too quick conclusions, react too fast...Then it's good to pause a bit, look around and see other people we haven't tried to understand, who each have their life story and problems too... So it's good to be tolerant to each other and allow and let our difference.

I'll stop, because here is no place for "philosophizing", but for our beautiful nature.

Malenka, thank you very much. You are a real treasure of knowledge that you selflessly share in this section and it will be very useful to me in identifying the flowers that I record on my paths. Super!

Good morning! Yesterday I already carefully reviewed malenka's presentations of flowers from 25.10.2020 to 29.10.2020, when she presented the blue-green trinija. I see this kobulnica (at least I think it belongs to kobulnice) when I visit my aunt in Divača - but I don't have it photographed.

I'll comment a bit on the presented flowers.

Triglavski svišč we can hardly mix up - it's beautiful - has those leafy rosettes.

Prerasli mošnjak we have as a weed in gardens.

Navadni and gozdni črnilec I see in the forest near my home.

Kamnokreči are altogether my love. Izbrazdani kamnokreči we have only three here and malenka presented two this time - muškatnega and črnoškrlatnega - this is an endemic of the Krn group and I found it right here three years ago.

In literature I read that Hallerjev jelenovec grows in the Central Alps and eastward to Tyrol. I have seen it in Austria - but don't have it photographed.

I don't know Praproti.

I think I saw dolgoostrožna vijolica in Romania, our ones except dišeča I can't distinguish.

I dedicated myself to zlaticam some year ago. Ledeniška doesn't grow here - I found it on a tour to Ankogel - High Tauern - Austria. Srhkodlakavo I don't know - it seems to grow higher at least judging by the pictures. Similar in growth is gomoljasti, which grows on my meadow. Opojno I found some year ago on a tour in Croatia on Snježnik, Guslica.

Ozkolistni zebrat is beautiful.

Gorski ovčin I don't know.

Of petoprstnikov I know quite a few. Velecvetnega I have seen on Kraški rob - don't have it photographed. Snežni is beautiful - Spain is far. Also ledeniški doesn't grow here - Potentilla frigida - malenka didn't mention this one - both remind me of winter.

Some jetičnike I know. Skalnega I always see on Planina Dedno polje. Timijev I know.

Navadno tavženrožo lately I find more rarely.

Panonski osta grows a lot on that slope near my home.

Mačje tačke I search for in vain on Črna prst. In the Botanične poti guidebook it's listed where they grow.

Malo voščico I find in Begunje.

Malenka's moškatni slezenovec probably doesn't grow here.

Jesenovko I found in Austria.

Beautiful is ledeniški pelin - I saw it on tours in the Dolomites in Italy. Klasnati pelin grows here on Mangart. I found it both in Austria and in Romania.

Rumeni naprstec I don't know if it grows here. I know it's lower than the velecvetni seen here.

Beautiful is waldsteinov osat. I search for it in vain on Velika planina - it should grow there.

With galvinci I'm not at home. Kranskega malenka determined for me recently.

Navadni bodak also grows here.

Resasti sviščevec is one of the last mountain flowers of late summer and the whole autumn. We always find it lower than the other sviščevci. We can't mix it with the other sviščevci because it's the only blue one.

I'll review my bodaki a bit. I often confuse them with osati. Some are really spiny like osati. According to Mala flora Slovenije there are 12 species in Slovenia. I have pictures only of seven. Probably I've seen some more, but not photographed. Debelolistni also eludes me, because we have it in two subspecies. Also alpaski we have in two subspecies.
Alpine thistle-Cardus defloratus-one of two subspecies-we have two subspecies in Slovenia.1
Thick-leaved thistle-Cardus crassifolius.2
This is its flower.3
Alpine thistle-Cardus defloratus-one of two subspecies-this one is spikier.4
Nodding thistle-Cardus nutans.probability of confirmation small.5
Common thistle-Cardus acanthoides6
Curly thistle -Cardus crispus- is questionable -malenka said -I photographed this on Črna prst.7
Plumed thistle -Cardus personata8
Tail thistle -Cardus carduelis9
Variably-leaved thistle -probably identified by malenka.10
This is its flower -these two photos are from the same site.11
Variably-leaved thistle -probably identified by malenka -these two photos are from another mountain hike.12
It has such leaves.13

And I continue with these spiny ones. These are osati, of which according to Mala flora Slovenije we have as many as eighteen. Every year I try to find waldsteinov on Velika planina, but can't find it. It's the only one with red-colored flower. I found or determined ten of them. The eleventh - raznolistnega - malenka determined for me.
Pannonic thistle-Cirsium pannonicum-I find this on the hillside near my home.1
Carniolan thistle-Cirsium carniolicum-I find this near home2
Soft thistle -Cirsium oleraceum-there are plenty of them by the nearby stream Belca-near my home.3
Common thistle-Cirsium vulgare -now follow two that grow on the rampart at the end of my meadow -this is the first.4
Field thistle-Cirsium arvense5
Not a thistle, probably some knapweed-told malenka.6
Marsh thistle -Cirsium palustre-usually we find it at the start of our mountain paths-identified by malenka.7
Sticky thistle-Cirsium erisithales-very common in the submontane zone and at the beginning of our mountain paths.8
Woolly-headed thistle-Cirsium eriophorum-this is the thistle of our mountains-has the largest flower of the thistles.9
It is very beautiful.10
Spiny thistle grows somehow the tallest - Cirsium spinosissimum.11
Variably-leaved thistle - Cirsium heteropgyllum - I found it in Italy, it also grows here. Malenka identified it for me. It doesn't look like the common thistle.12
It has the largest leaves among thistles and nothing prickly.13

Velkavrh, some remarks on your posts:
1. regarding comments related to my posts: prerasli mošnjak is by no means garden weed, it's quite a rare plant, although it grows scattered almost all over Slovenia. Dolgoostrožna vijolica grows only high in the Alps (we have another subspecies here - zoisova), other subspecies also on Balkan mountains (also zoisova), but not in Romania. Moškatni slezenovec does grow here, but according to my observations it's quite rare.
2. Bodaki: picture 4 is not kimasti but alpski; on picture 5 it has much wider involucral leaves, could be kimasti. Picture 7 kodrasti bodak - I don't know it, but this one on the picture is suspicious to me, not similar to those google shows under this name. On pictures 10-13 it's probably raznolistni osat.
3. Osati: on picture 6 it's not brezstebelni osat but some bodak. On picture 7 it's not potočni osat but močvirski osat.

Malenka, you're right, I apparently confused prerasli mošnjak with some other weed.

In literature I read that kodrasti bodak grows in lowlands and is similar to navadni. This bodak from Črna prst is probably repinčasti. This bodak was photographed right at that pond on top of Črna prst.

In Romania I saw those blue violets several times - they were definitely beautiful.
All photographed at approximately the same elevation, but on different hikes.1
This one was not completely blue.2
All three have a different lower petal, which is clearly visible.3
This rock plant was also interesting at 2400 m. Unfortunately I didn't zoom in. Flowers similar to our globeflowers.4

I checked what the situation is with my chimney plants. With these yellow ones I'm a bit short. According to the Small Flora of Slovenia there should be as many as 26 growing in Slovenia. My harvest is quite modest. More grow in the lowlands, but I don't know them. Somehow I just can't find the Triglav one.
Two-year hawkweed -Crepis biennis- grows in valleys on meadows. It is very common. I also have it on my little meadow.1
Kerner's hawkweed-Crepis jacquinni2
Kerner's hawkweed-subspecies from Austria -the flower is colored strongly orange.3
Mountain hawkweed-Crepis bocconei4
We also find it on Črna prst-it is quite common.5
Flesh-red hawkweed -Crepis froelichiana subsp. dinarica. I first found it ten years ago on Kamniški vrh.6
7
Lamp-leaved hawkweed-Crepis pyrenaica-from the Botanical path Črna prst.8
Prealpine hawkweed-Crepis alpestris. Here there is already a dilemma. The flower is somehow the same -the leaves are very different.9
Golden hawkweed-Crepis aurea. It flowers from yellow to strong orange color. It is common.10

Scopoli's rockcress (Arabis scopoliana)

It is a very rare species that grows here only at a few sites, such as Nanos and Snežnik. It is low (5-10 cm), has small leaves with simple, bristly hairs and 10 mm flowers.
