Suhi vrh (Nanos)

Description of mountain:
Suhi vrh is the highest peak of the mighty karst plateau Nanos at 1313 meters. Although Pleša with its transmitters and Vojko's hut is more popular and recognizable among visitors, Suhi vrh surpasses it by a good 50 meters. From the summit, where a registration box and stamp are located, there is a wonderful view of the Postojna basin, the Javorniki, the Pivka valley and Hrušica. On clear days, the horizon offers an exceptional panoramic view that extends from the Adriatic Sea and the Gulf of Trieste all the way to Snežnik and the central Julian Alps, the Karawanks and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
