Bockhartscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2226 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located in country Austria 7 km west from the center of Böckstein and 9 km west-southwest from the center of Bad Gastein and 1.5 km southwest of peak Silberpfennig. The nearest mountain hut is Filzenalm, located 1.7km west-southwest. A little further is Schöneggalm. 0.5 km east of the saddle there is lake Oberer Bockhartsee. 5 km south from the saddle there is glacier Mölltaler Gletscher, 6 km south from the saddle there is also glacier Schapperebenkees. The saddle is located east-northeast of the valley Kleinfleißtal.
