Bockhart is 2260 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.5 km southwest of peak Silberpfennig. The nearest mountain hut is Seealm, located 1.6km north-northwest. Schöneggalm is also relatively close. 0.6 km east of the peak there is lake Oberer Bockhartsee. 5 km south from the summit there is glacier Mölltaler Gletscher, 6 km south from the summit there is also glacier Schapperebenkees. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Kleinfleißtal.
