Seekopf is 2413 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 7 km west-southwest from the center of Böckstein and 9 km west-southwest from the center of Bad Gastein. The nearest mountain hut is Filzenalm, located 1.9km west. Bockhartseehütte is also relatively close. 0.8 km north-northeast of the peak there is lake Oberer Bockhartsee. 4 km south-southwest from the summit there is glacier Mölltaler Gletscher, 5 km south from the summit there is also glacier Schapperebenkees. West-southwest of the summit is the valley Kleinfleißtal.
