Description:
Brettscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2552 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 4 km east-northeast from the center of Apriach and 5 km east from the center of Schachnern. The nearest mountain hut is Alpengasthof "Alter Pocher", located 3km northwest. Closer is Trögeralmhütte, which is located 1.4km to the southwest. 6 km east-southeast of the saddle there is lake Weißsee. 6 km east-northeast from the saddle there is glacier Mölltaler Gletscher, 6 km north from the saddle there is also glacier Krumlkees. The saddle is located south-southeast of the valley Kleinfleißtal.
