Description:
Eckkopf is 2871 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 2 km south-southwest of peak Alteck. The nearest mountain hut is Duisburger Hütte, located 3km east. A little further is Trögeralmhütte. 3 km east-southeast of the peak there is lake Weißsee. 4 km east-northeast from the summit there is glacier Mölltaler Gletscher, 5 km east-northeast from the summit there is also glacier Schapperebenkees.
