Großzirknitzscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2719 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.7 km northwest of peak Alteck. The nearest mountain hut is Rojacher Hütte, located 1.3km northwest. Trögeralmhütte is a bit further away. 4 km southeast of the saddle there is lake Weißsee. 3 km east from the saddle there is glacier Mölltaler Gletscher, 4 km east-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Schapperebenkees. The saddle is located east-southeast of the valley Kleinfleißtal.
