Erlscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2114 meters in the Karwendel Mountains. The saddle is located 6 km north-northeast from the center of Zirl and 6 km east-northeast from the center of Reith bei Seefeld. The nearest mountain hut is Solsteinhaus, located 1.3km south-southeast. And bivouac Dr. Bergmannhütte is also close by. The saddle is located above the valley Großkristental. The saddle is located on the ridge Erlspitzgruppe.
