The nearest mountain hut is Schwarzensteinhütte - Rifugio al Sasso Nero, located 2.0km southwest. A little further is Alpenverein Ahrntal. 0.6 km west-northwest from the saddle there is glacier Floitenkees, 0.8 km east from the saddle there is also glacier Tribbachkees - Vedretta Rio Torbo. The saddle is located above the valley Floitengrund.
