Granatscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2938 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 0.4 km north-northwest of peak Granatspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Staudleralm, located 6km west-southwest. A bit closer is bivouac Karl-Fürst-Hütte, which is located 1.6km to the west-northwest. 0.5 km northeast from the saddle there is glacier Sonnblickkees, 1.1 km south-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Granatspitzkees. The saddle is located above the valley Dorfer Tal.
