Hohe Torscharte

Description:
Hohe Torscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2292 meters in the Berchtesgaden Alps. The saddle is located 5 km northeast from the center of Hinterthal and 7 km north-northeast from the center of Dienten am Hochkönig. The nearest mountain hut is Franz-Eduard-Matras-Haus, located 4km southeast. A bit closer is bivouac Bertgenhütte, which is located 2km to the south. The saddle is located east-northeast of the valley Vorderglemmtal.
