Description:
Mittagsscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2454 meters and is part of the Berchtesgaden Alps. The saddle is located in country Austria 5 km north-northeast from the center of Hinterthal and 7 km northeast from the center of Krallerwinkl. The nearest mountain hut is Pichl Alm, located 5km south-southeast. Closer is bivouac Wildalmkirchl-Biwak, which is located 0.2km to the west-northwest. West-southwest of the saddle is the valley Vorderglemmtal.
