Hoher Trog

Description:
Hoher Trog is a saddle at an altitude of 2359 meters in the Dachstein Mountains. The saddle is located in country Austria 7 km south-southwest from the center of Hallstatt and 8 km southwest from the center of Obertraun and 0.7 km north-northeast of peak Hoher Ochsenkogel. The nearest mountain hut is Simonyhütte, located 1.5km east-southeast. And bivouac Modereck is also close by. 3 km south-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Großer Gosaugletscher, 5 km south-southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Schladminger Gletscher. The saddle is located southwest of the valley Koppental.
