Hohe Hosswand

Description:
Hohe Hosswand is 2247 meter high peak in the Dachstein Mountains. The peak is located 8 km southwest from the center of Hallstatt and 9 km south-southeast from the center of Gosau. The nearest mountain hut is Adamekhütte, located 2km south. A little further is Badstub'n Hütte. 4 km south-southeast from the summit there is glacier Großer Gosaugletscher, 6 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Schladminger Gletscher. The peak is located west-southwest of the valley Koppental.
