Kotbachsattel (Wannigjöchl)

Description:
Kotbachsattel (Wannigjöchl) is a saddle at an altitude of 2183 meters and is part of the Wetterstein mountains. The saddle is located 8 km north from the center of Wildermieming and 8 km east from the center of Ehrwald and 2 km west-southwest of peak Hochwanner. The nearest mountain hut is Steinernes Hüttl, located 1.0km east-southeast. A little further is bivouac Ganghofers Rast. 5 km northwest from the saddle there is glacier Schneeferner, 5 km north-northwest from the saddle there is also glacier Höllentalferner. The saddle is located above the valley Gaistal.
