Östliche Plattspitze

Description:
Östliche Plattspitze is 2680 meter high peak in the Wetterstein mountains. The peak is located on the border between the country of Austria and the country of Germany. The nearest mountain hut is Gästehaus Alpenglühn, located 2km southwest. A little further is bivouac Ganghofers Rast. 2 km northwest from the summit there is glacier Schneeferner, 3 km north from the summit there is also glacier Höllentalferner. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Gaistal.
