The nearest mountain hut is Münchner Haus, located 2km north-northeast. A little further is bivouac Ganghofers Rast. 1.4 km north-northeast from the summit there is glacier Schneeferner, 3 km northeast from the summit there is also glacier Höllentalferner. The peak is located north of the valley Gaistal.
