Description:
Mirnitzscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2743 meters and is part of the Schober Group. The saddle is located 1.0 km northwest of peak Große Mirnitzspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Hochschoberhütte, located 1.4km west. bivouac Gösnitzkopf-Biwak is also relatively close. 7 km northeast from the saddle there is glacier Hornkees. East of the saddle is the valley Debanttal.
