Preimlscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2953 meters located in the High Tauern mountain range. The saddle is located 1.3 km northeast of peak Großelendkopf. The nearest mountain hut is Villacher Hütte, located 3km east-southeast. A little further is winterraum. 1.4 km west-southwest from the saddle there is glacier Großelendkees, 1.8 km southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Winkelkees. East-northeast of the saddle is the valley Maltatal.
