Hinterer Findelkarkopf is 2976 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 11 km west-northwest from the center of Brandstatt and 13 km southwest of Hintermuhr. The nearest mountain hut is Villacher Hütte, located 3km southeast. A little further is winterraum. 2 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Großelendkees, 3 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Winkelkees. East of the summit is the valley Maltatal.
