Description:
Roßkarscharte is a saddle at an altitude of 2690 meters and is part of the Zillertal Alps. The saddle is located 0.6 km west-southwest of peak Rosskopf. The nearest mountain hut is Zittauer Hütte, located 1.6km north-northwest. bivouac Neugersdorfer Hütte is also relatively close. 1.3 km north-northwest of the saddle there is lake Unterer Gerlos See. 2 km northeast from the saddle there is glacier Weißkarkees, 3 km west-southwest from the saddle there is also glacier Zillerkees. The saddle is located above the valley Wildgerlostal.
