Schönjoch is a saddle at an altitude of 2677 meters in the Stubai Alps. The saddle is located 3 km north from the center of Niederthai and 4 km east-northeast from the center of Umhausen. The nearest mountain hut is Schweinfurter Hütte, located 4km east. A bit closer is Jagdhütte, which is located 1.9km to the west. 6 km south-southeast from the saddle there is glacier Grasstallferner, 7 km southeast from the saddle there is also glacier Grieskogelferner.
