Description:
Achselkopf is 1560 meter high peak and is part of the Karwendel Mountains. The peak is located 2 km south-southeast of peak Vordere Brandjochspitze. The nearest mountain hut is Höttinger Alm, located 1.7km north-northeast. A little closer is bivouac Achselbodenhütte, which is located 0.5km to the north-northwest. The monument Turnverein Friesen Hötting is also located at the top. The peak is located northwest of the valley Unterinntal.
