Großvenediger

Description:
Großvenediger is 3657 meter high peakon which a cross stands located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 8 km west-southwest from the center of Innergschlöß and 10 km west-southwest from the center of Außergschlöß. The nearest mountain hut is Defreggerhaus, located 3km south-southeast. Goldschmiedhütte is a bit further away. 4 km north from the summit there is glacier Untersulzbachkees, 4 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Maurerkees. Northeast of the summit is the valley Gschlößtal.
