Hochbirghöhe is 2758 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km north from the center of Außergschlöß and 5 km north from the center of Innergschlöß. The nearest mountain hut is Jausenstation Gamsblick, located 3km north-northeast. A little further is Vorderofnerhütte. 6 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Nördliches Viltragenkees, 6 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Waidsfeldkees. South of the summit is the valley Gschlößtal.
