Geieringhöhe

Description:
Geieringhöhe is 2747 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 0.6 km northwest of peak Hochbirghöhe. The nearest mountain hut is Jausenstation Gamsblick, located 2km northeast. A little further is Vorderofnerhütte. 6 km west-southwest from the summit there is glacier Nördliches Viltragenkees, 6 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Waidsfeldkees. The peak is located north of the valley Gschlößtal.
