Geiering

Description:
Geiering is 2516 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 1.0 km west-southwest of peak Geieringhöhe. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Fürther Hütte, located 2km west-southwest. Closer is Ofneralm, which is located 1.8km to the northwest. 5 km southwest from the summit there is glacier Nördliches Viltragenkees, 5 km west-northwest from the summit there is also glacier Waidsfeldkees. The peak is located north-northwest of the valley Gschlößtal.
