Innerer Kesselkopf is 2897 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located 5 km west from the center of Innergschlöß and 6 km west from the center of Außergschlöß and 2 km southeast of peak Plattiger Habach. The nearest mountain hut is Neue Prager Hütte, located 0.3km southeast. A little further is Ofneralm. 2 km north-northwest from the summit there is glacier Nördliches Viltragenkees, 4 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Karleskees.
