Lackkopf is 2082 meter high peak located in the High Tauern mountain range. The peak is located in country Austria 8 km south-southwest from the center of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße and 12 km east of Enzingerboden. The nearest mountain hut is Heinrich Schwaiger Haus, located 4km west. A little further is bivouac Gruberscharten-Biwak. 1.6 km west from the summit there is glacier Sandbodenkees, 2.0 km southwest from the summit there is also glacier Boggeneikees.
