Mittlerer Diemkogel is 3340 meter high peak and is part of the Natural Park Ötztal. The peak is located in country Austria 6 km south-southeast from the center of Vent and 10 km southwest from the center of Obergurgl. The nearest mountain hut is Fidelitas Hütte, located 4km east. bivouac Ramolalm is a bit further away. 2 km northeast from the summit there is glacier Firmisánferner, 3 km east-southeast from the summit there is also glacier Kleinleitenferner. East-northeast of the summit is the valley Gurgler Tal.
