Description:
Nofertenschneid is 2434 meter high peak in the Zillertal Alps. The peak is located in country Austria 7 km south-southeast from the center of Brandberg and 8 km southeast from the center of Mayrhofen. The nearest mountain hut is Edelhütte, located 3km northwest. A little further is Andreas-Hofer-Hütte. 3 km east-southeast from the summit there is glacier Kainzenkarkees, 4 km southeast from the summit there is also glacier Hasenkarkees. South-southwest of the summit is the valley Stillupgrund.
